Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 | Netflix

Hi, there! Welcome back to Wryteups. So, for this week, I want to share my insights into of one the most iconic movies, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE!

Yes, the Leatherface is back in 2022. So, this movie is about Sally Hadesty, from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974, looking over her “reunion” with the Leatherface after 50 years for revenge. I think before you jump straight to the 2022 version, you might want to understand the storyline from the 1974's.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974

This new movie in 2022 is about influencers who would like to help people have a fresh start. They went to Harlow after buying the whole town and planning to build a new one. There was a conflict when one local resident refused to move out of her own property. So, that is when everything started. What starts? Well, you have to watch it 😉

It is not that bad, and it is not that good either. I would give this movie, hmm….🤔 7 ⭐️ and the rating on the IMDb is 5.1/10. That’s….not good, right? Why?

The movie’s beginning is good, but when it reaches the pre-climax, it becomes predictable and quite cringes. Usually, what I do while watching the movie starts, I will make my own theory in my head like okay, this guy will be the hero, then there is this girl, and I think she will be the heroine, you know the one that got away, but at the end, I got it wrong. I like that point where it makes you think, and the director proved that your judgment is too cliché 😂 (You’ve got me, Mr. Director 🙃).

The climax of Leatherface’s comeback is predictable what he did is beyond my expectation. The gory things that he did were something different to me. A lot of details, a lot of “no-cutting gory scene,” means it shows you that if he cuts his victim’s stomach, it is no scene changing there. It shows you that he cuts it open. That is what I like about the movie. The details are shown, making me stick to the film until the end.

After the “Slash Party” in the bus scene, the thing escalated down. But I love the “Slash Party” scene a lot. That is my favorite scene from the movie. You can feel the fear, the goriness. Imagine 15 people in a bus, and there is no way out unless you try to jump out of the window. I am not sure why but the windows won’t open, maybe because of the blood that makes the windows slippery. But as a horror movies fan, I love the way they shoot that scene.

So, the ending…hmm…Hard to say to be honest. I don’t like the end. I just don’t know how to say it. So, if you want to learn more about the movie, go watch it on Netflix or my favorite site, FMovies.

If you have any movies that you want to watch but are not sure if it is worth your time or not, hit me up! Please send me the title, and the year it is released. I will try to find it and review it on your behalf! And why not a shoutout as well! Sounds cool, right?🔥

Thank you to those who read! 😊
